William Harenburg, Jr., M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. William C. Harenburg joined the physician team at Wheaton Pediatrics in 2008. Dr. Harenburg spent his childhood in Bolingbrook, Ill., but lived in southern California in his teens. He graduated summa cum laude with college honors, with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, from UCLA in 1997. After relocating to Chicago, he completed his master’s work in Developmental Biology and received an M.S. in Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Chicago in 2003. After receiving his M.D. from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago in 2005, Dr. Harenburg completed his residency training at Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago Medical Center, and in 2008 was named Senior Resident of the Year. He lives in Naperville and in his free time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, watching movies, and working on jigsaw puzzles.
